As I look forward to photographing each autumn, Japanese gardens are at the top of my list as they showcase a concentrated array of vibrant colors — maples illuminate in fiery reds, ginkgo trees brilliant tones of gold against an ever-fading green backdrop.
The rustling of fallen leaves and still pond waters create a soothing atmosphere to unwind. While although colors will eventually fade to brown and some trees laid bare, it reminds me of the beauty that can accompany change.
